Mission Statement
The mission statement of my blog is to inform people that not
everyone in the world makes enough money to provide basic needs for themselves
and their families including food, shelter, medical care, and clothing.
Extra items like electronics, and privileges such as vehicles
do not exist for them. Some people make less than one dollar a day! I
believe that people around the world should be aware of this because if enough
people do know about poverty in different countries, we may be able to help
these poverty stricken countries. How? We can raise a lot of money by donating to
different organizations that help with these poor countries. I chose
poverty in India as my topic, due to the fact that I wanted to inform people
about poverty, and my friend was born in India, so I decided to pick that country.

DeleteFor me I've heard of people making a dollar a day but it still shocks me, and leaves me in awe every time that I read or hear about. Great start to a blog Isaac and awesome comment Coleton.

ReplyDeleteThat is a great mission statement Isaac! You had a lot of really interesting points throughout this post. I really liked the reason why you decided to pick India as your country. Also, it is sad to think that people can't even afford the basic necessities like food and clothing. Great post Isaac! can't wait to read the next one.
